Teen Drivers Ed Program

SEGMENT 1
The student must be minimum, by first day of class, 14 years and 8 months to 18 years to take Segment I by the State of Michigan, in order to receive a Level 1 Learner's License.

Segment 1 (In-Person) consists of:

• 24 hours of in-person classroom instruction
• 6 hours on-the-road instruction
• 4 hours of observation

SEGMENT 2
If you are under the age of 18 you are required to take Segment 2 by the State of Michigan in order to be eligible for a Road Test.

Segment 2 (in-Person) consists of:

• 6 hours of classroom instruction
